Elsa Lantz
Secretary General
"My curtain went up with a bang when I read research and took part in young people's own stories. Then I realized that children are often exposed to porn already in primary school and that in many cases it leads to mental and physical illness, sexual violence and abuse between children and teenagers who copy what they learn from porn. We started Porrfri Barndom because the only way to prevent this public health crisis among children is together."
- Elsa Lantz
Elsa has 20 years of experience as a journalist and communicator in both the non-profit and commercial sectors. She has also worked with Förskolebrevet, Idrottsbrevet, Locker Room and Unga Relationer. Lotta Gray
Ambassador
"I have been involved in the issue of pornography and its impact on children and young people for many years, actually since my teens. When I later had children of my own, I realized the importance of talking about and preventing the exposure our kids are exposed to early today. It's a great opportunity to work on these issues and contribute with my knowledge to reach more parents and protect more children".
-Lotta Gray
Lotta has worked 19 years as a journalist at Aller Media. Most recently, Lotta came from the Swedish Cancer Society where she worked with press issues and the development of the ambassador project. Catarina Pap de Pestény
Project Manager
"As I have always been interested in health, the link to a lot of screen time and early exposure to harmful violent porn is clear and a pure health issue. According to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, it is a right, under Swedish law, for children to grow up without being exposed to the harmful content of online pornography."
- Catarina Pap de Pestény
Catarina has a degree in economics from the Gothenburg School of Economics and has over 20 years of experience in marketing and as an entrepreneur. Catarina previously worked as a project manager for Porrfri Barndom's Inheritance Fund project, she drove the education of porn prevention for Sweden's primary and middle school parents. Cecilia Sebesta
Board member & MBA with over 20 years of experience in business development in the design and lifestyle industry.
"Children are our future. It is we adults who are responsible for the start they get in life - not least when it comes to values and view of humanity. For me, it is unthinkable not to get involved in such a crucial issue as children's right to a safe childhood free from pornographic influence."
Cecilia wants to help strengthen an increasingly important voice in the public debate - a voice that highlights children's need for protection from early exposure to pornography. She believes that when societal institutions fail to protect children, it is our collective responsibility as adults to act.
As a mother, Cecilia has seen first-hand both the amazing opportunities digitalization brings - access to language, knowledge and creative inspiration - but also the risks. She is concerned that an uncritical or naïve approach to children and young people's use of screens risks normalizing destructive ideals, distorted notions of relationships, and a lack of respect for other people
Ida Lindberg
Board member & behavioral scientist
"The work Porrfri Barndom has done so far is so important, together we can make a difference for our children."
Ida is a trained behavioural scientist and has worked with personnel and organizational development for over 15 years. Through the opportunity to be a board member of Porrfri Barndom , her purpose is to be involved in creating a safe digital environment around our children and to work to ensure that our children and young people are not exposed to porn at too early an age. Ida is a mother herself and the digital development is in many ways fantastic, but for our children it is free for a terrible filterless world where they can be exposed to things a child should never have to see. It is the responsibility of us parents and adults to counteract this development. As well as using collective means to protect our children and educate and talk about this.
